About the Org

Network for ALL was founded to address a recurring gap in economic and community initiatives: strong effort without durable coordination. Since its founding in 2025, the organization has evolved into a focused system stewardship practice grounded in listening, pattern recognition, and adaptive learning.

This work requires judgment rather than templates—an ability to see beneath surface activity, hold complexity, and support alignment without imposing solutions. Leadership at Network for ALL is oriented toward stewardship: creating conditions for others to work well together, make healthier decisions, and sustain impact over time.

About the Founder - Dr. Des Floyd, EdLD (Harvard)

Long before founding Network for ALL, my life was shaped by contrast, movement, and adaptation. I was born in Boston and raised between the urban North and the rural South, and those experiences taught me early that opportunity is not evenly distributed — not because of individual failure, but because systems quietly organize access, visibility, and power. I learned to notice what goes unsaid: how stress, identity, policy, and place influence who gets heard, who gets resourced, and who carries the risks.

My early education at a school rooted in the American Playground Movement left a deeper imprint than I realized at the time. That philosophy — that learning is relational, creativity is essential, and environments shape development — continues to guide my leadership today. I believe systems either expand human agency or constrain it, and that design and impact matter as much as intention.

About Me

Hello Good People!

I am Dessalines (Des) Floyd and I’m prepared to lead this organization into the future. I have spent decades developing the capacities this moment requires: holding complexity without oversimplifying it, naming hard truths without blame, aligning diverse stakeholders without erasing difference, and stewarding systems with care rather than extraction. The alignment between who I am, what I have done, and what this work demands is not incidental. It is structural — and it is intentional.
